2017 Renewals

We are sending out an e-mail today to all season ticket holders with renewal information for both Football and Men's Basketball. Please ask a manager to review the process with you when you come into the office.

Every season ticket holder will receive a personalized renewal page that outlines the entire process. (Example below). On this page, it will show their balance for donation and tickets for each sport. From there, it will direct them to login to their account where they can access their renewal application. If they have FB & MBB, they must complete the renewal for both sports together at the same time online. If they only want to renew one of the sports today but not the other, then they must do that over the phone with a ticket representative.

To be considered for a Football relocation, the customer must be paid in full or enrolled in a payment plan option by January 31, 2017. They will receive an email during the week of February 20, 2017 with your relocation date and time. All relocations will be completed online via an interactive seat map.

Men's Basketball relocations can be requested online in the comments section of the renewal application. The seat relocation process will take place from April 13 to May 1, 2017. We will be calling these customers to review available seats.

Bowl Game Parking

Russell Athletic Bowl

We have been selected to play in the Russell Athletic Bowl on Wednesday, December 28 at 5:30 p.m. vs. West Virginia University.

We will be taking requests from Hurricane Club members until 5 p.m. on Monday, December 5.  At 5 p.m., we will turn all remaining ticket inventory on sale to the general public.


All HC members are submitting requests that are $0, and then their price will be determined upon allocations tomorrow evening.  Tickets will be fulfilled and allocated based on HC giving level and points within giving level.

Ticket Price Options:
  • $89 – Corner (Lower Level/Plaza Level)
  • $105 – Goalline (Lower Level/Plaza Level)
  • $110 – Redzone (Lower Level/Plaza Level)
  • $131 – Midfield (Lower Level/Plaza Level)
  • $157 – Open Air Club (Lower Level/Plaza Level)
  • $257 – Indoor Club (Lower Level/Plaza Level) – Will mainly go to GC and above based on inventory
For customers inquiring, our seats are located in the 100 Level and Plaza Level along the East sideline.


Customers are not guaranteed a specific price point as it is based on demand and allocations.  You may type any specific seating requests customers may have in Special Handling.

Tickets will be shipped via UPS 2 Day Service beginning on Wednesday, December 14, with the last shipment leaving on Wednesday, December 21.  All other tickets can be designated as Will Call.  Gameday Will Call location and time information will be sent out once determined.  Will Call tickets may begin to be picked up on Wednesday, December 14 from the ticket office at the Watsco Center.


Please be sure to still add the billing plan as we will charge credit cards tomorrow night once price levels have been determined.  A $15 order charge to cover UPS/credit card fees will be applied to all fulfilled requests.

We are doing an offer to Former Players for tickets as well at this time in the $89 and $105 price areas.

We are also offering all UM students a chance to purchase up to 2 tickets for $15 each, that will be located directly behind our band.  These are specially priced tickets through the bowl that we receive.  These will be available only via will call pick up.

Basketball Employee Day

Employee Day for Men’s and Women’s Basketball is now live.

For selling to a customer over the phone, please use the Basketball Employee Day control. This includes access to both sports at the employee day prices. The price for men’s is $1.50  and $1.00 for women’s. Just like last year, we will offer the pre-game tailgate for the MBK employee day games, which will also be $1.50.

IMPORTANT – When you select an employee day event through item sales, it will auto-assign the pre-game tailgate as well. Please double check with the customer to see if they would like to attend the tailgate. If the customer does not, simply delete the tailgate item out of the order.

Bowl Game Information

We released football bowl game information to all Hurricane Club members today. They are able to submit priority requests for any of the available bowl options that Miami may be chosen to play in. They will not be charged anything today at the time of their request (all items are $0). Customers will only be charged if Miami is selected to play in the bowl game that they requested. A $15 order charge will be added to all processed requests in order to cover credit card fees, shipping fees, and transnational fees by Paciolan. Tickets will have the option to be shipped via UPS 2-Day Service or will call pick up.

If you are taking their request over the phone, please put the Billing Plan "B" in each item's order line. Then go into the "B" bill plan when prompted by Pac7 in order to add the credit card to their order.

MBB Parking

Men's Basketball parking can not be sent print at home. It's a little different than parking for football. Since the parking passes aren't scannable in our lots here, everyone will need to receive the physical pass. Whenever you sell a parking pass at the window, please tell a manager the lot and pass number that you sold and they will get it for you.

Away Game Tickets

All remaining away game tickets (Virginia Tech, Notre Dame, Virginia and NC State) were mailed from our office on Friday 9/23.  If someone ordered multiple away games, their tickets will come in one envelope via USPS.

The only tickets that were not mailed were customers with balance dues and will call. We will be contacting the balance dues next week and if we do not receive payment we will be cancelling their orders. 

Moving forward, we will not have any more away game tickets to sell through our office.  Customers must go through the home ticket office in order to attempt to purchase. 

If a customer does not receive their away game tickets by the week of the game they purchased, they can email canestix@miami.edu to request a reprint and we will have it reprinted and distribute to the customer or a person of choice at our visiting team will call.  We cannot reprint or email tickets within our office since the tickets were initially printed and distributed through the home venues’ ticketing software.  Customers cannot return their tickets because they do not want them anymore, we are not accepting cancellations at this point.

We have introduced Canes VR (Virtual Reality) to our fans. They can purchase a years worth of content that includes virtual reality experiences that allows fans to experience what it's like to be in the middle of the action of any Hurricanes sport team.

If you get any questions about the virtual reality product that we introduced today, please let the people know that it is a pre-sale and the actual headset and code to get the content won’t be sent out until mid-October.

Baseball Season Ticket Renewal

Invoices for all baseball season ticket holders to renew their seats have been sent out. The deadline to renew their tickets before they are dropped from their account is November 30th. Customers can either pay in full or choose to pay off with a payment plan.

If customers are looking to purchase additional season tickets, currently only general admission season tickets are on sale. If they are looking to buy reserved seats, that will become available at a later date.

Football Employee Day part 2

You MUST be using the Employee Day - Phone control when in Pac7. If someone comes to the window, please make sure to use Employee Day - Window.

Customers get 1 complimentary ticket (Price Type = CED), and up to 3 tickets for $1 (Price Type = AED).  Please be sure to delegate one ticket as a complimentary ticket during the purchase.  You will only be able to select E holds from the map.  My best practice suggestion would just be to put in the quantity that they want and click find (best available) seats, and not go searching through the map to waste time.  The seat selection will find the best available seats, and from there you will designate the price types.  Customers may also get 1 parking pass in the Orange Lot for $10 (Price Type = AED).

When selecting what account to sell the tickets into, it MUST be a 9+C# account, as these are the accounts provided by campus.  These customers have a customer type of FS16, that prove their eligibility.

Important Notes:
-Faculty/Staff can only select ONE game for which they can purchase all 4 tickets. (No splitting tickets over multiple games)
-They can only get 1 complimentary ticket, and 3 $1 tickets.
-Each ticket will have the $10 concessions only (no merchandise) voucher on it.
-Customer must select the proper location for which to pick up his/her tickets.  We will not mail any tickets (Except Branch campuses).
-Customers can buy 1 orange parking pass for the selected game for $10.
-Only customers with Customer Type FS16 will be eligible to purchase, as it must be the 9+C# account to be used.

Single Game Football Ticket Pre-Sale

The Pre-Sale to purchase football single game tickets is for Hurricane Club members only! Any remaining tickets will be open to the public beginning August 1st.

The only anticipated inventory to be available for FSU is club seating. The only way to guarantee a non-club seat for the FSU game is to purchase season tickets.

Season Ticket Mailing Update

Please see below for any customers who call in asking when they'll receive their season tickets:

Our season ticket shipment has been delayed until approximately Friday, August 12.  We are hoping they get them out a little earlier than that, however we are sending via USPS Priority Mail which is no more than a 3-day delivery window, so most customers should receive their tickets during the week of August 15-19.

Appalachian State

We are sold out of our allotment of tickets to the Appalachian State game. Customer's will need to check on availability through their ticket office or on any secondary sites (Stubhub).

Stadium Name

The football stadium is no longer called "Sun Life Stadium". Please refer to it as "New Miami Stadium" until there's a new naming rights deal announced.

CWS Ticket Info

We are currently taking ticket requests for the College World Series. Tickets are available to Hurricane Club members and Season Ticket Holders only. The deadline to request will be Thursday, June 16 at 12pm. Request limits are the following: 
  • Golden Canes and above - 6 tickets
  • Silver Canes and below plus Season Ticket holders - 4 tickets. 
Tickets for the visiting team will be on the 1st base side of the field (sections 107, 108, 202, 302) and tickets for the home team will be on the 3rd base side of the field (sections 116, 117, 222, 322). Tickets will be available for pickup at Gate 2 of TD Ameritrade Park beginning 2 hours prior to each game Miami participates in. Please remember that only the customer of record can pick up his/her tickets. Ticket prices range from $32 - $39 depending on the session being played. 

All requests can be processed by the customer in their online account through their College World Series application. Customers can request tickets to all potential games that they would like to attend, however their credit card will not be charged until it is determined that the Miami will be playing in the requested session. If we are to take any requests over the phone, the application item is accessible through Pac7 similar to how we took orders for basketball postseason. 


If you need to enter a request in manually into Pac7, please use the following item codes as these are the only potential games that Miami can play in:
·         CWS2 – Saturday, June 18 at 7pm
·         CWS5 – Monday, June 20 at 1pm
·         CWS6 – Monday, June 20 at 6pm
·         CWS9 – Wednesday, June 22 at 6pm
·         CWS11 – Friday, June 24 at 2pm
·         CWS13 – Saturday, June 25 TBD (if necessary)
·         CWS15 – Monday, June 27 at 6pm (CWS Finals Game 1)
·         CWS16 – Tuesday, June 28 at 7pm (CWS Finals Game 2)
·         CWS17 – Wednesday, June 29 at 7pm (CWS Finals Game 3 – If necessary)


Please make sure these items are marked with the CWS bill plan and store the credit card they would like to use in the payment plan. Their credit card will be charged as soon as we know we are playing in their requested session and that we can fulfill their order.

Dolphins Move Preseason Game

As some of you may have seen, the dolphins are moving their first preseason game.  Today is the first that I have heard this and to my knowledge we have not yet been told that we would have to move our game.  Our message is still the same.  We are moving forward with the understanding that the stadium will be completed for game, but are working on a contingency plan.  As soon as we know anything more we will communicate it to all season ticket holders.

Baseball Regional Update

There will be 2 games on each day beginning Friday, June 3rd. Each game is its own individual session and will have its own individual ticket. The stadium will be cleared in between games. Game times are going to be 1pm and 7pm each day. Monday's game will be 7pm (if necessary).

The box office will open 2 hours prior and remain open throughout the duration of the game until the end of the 2nd game.

The baseball postseason e-mail went out today to all season ticket holders to begin pre-ordering their seats for both the Regional and Super Regional rounds. Please review the following ticket information to help assist with answering any questions you may receive.

Every season ticket holder will have their exact seats in their accounts for both the Regional and Super Regional rounds. The postseason bill plan “P” is already on each of the line items so all you have to do is go into the bill plan and add the credit card that they would like to use and save.

At this time, general admission all-session tickets can be added to any season ticket holder’s account who are looking to purchase additional tickets. If a customer is asking to purchase additional reserved seats, they will have to wait until after the deadline passes which is when we can determine if any remaining inventory is available. 

Deadline to reserve their seats is Tuesday, May 31st.

Football Seat Changes

Relocations

Remember that people’s login information is their account number and their pin (even if they are already linked). Pin number can also be found in the Edit Patron screen in Pac7 and scrolling down to the E-Venue box. In the back office if you right click on your screen and then type in pd.ev.patron.i it will bring up a screen that will show you what customer’s pin number is. 

Every customer must do this online! The only way we can help them is by logging into the upgrade site as them and doing the same process that they would.We can help walk them through the process but we are not going to actually be doing the it for them (there will be certain exceptions - ask a manager). 

Steps:
  1. Sign In
  2. Select the seats that you want to switch or relocate and press continue
  3. Find and click the new seats that they want to move to
  4. Add to Cart
  5. Checkout
  6. Site will redirect to Hurricane Sports to confirm the change and set up payment/set up payment plan.
Once they finish the process, all changes are FINAL! As soon as they confirm through site, they can not go back into the site and try to relocate again. 

The only way they can add seats is if they are changing seats. Unfortunately, the system isn't allowing people to straight add seats.  This process is specifically for upgrading and relocating.

Football Relocations

The relocation period for season ticket holders will begin Monday (4/4) next week! All season ticket holders are receiving an e-mail this morning with their upgrade date and time where they can login to our interactive online seat map.

Their times will not be changed! All times were slotted based off their giving level and their priority points within that giving level. If they want to move seats with friends or family, they have to wait until the person with the last time can access the site before they can all move together.

HOW TO FIND THEIR TIMESLOT ON PAC7:

  • Click on the Patron tab at the very top of Pac7 (near Order Management & Item Sales)
  • Get their account number
  • Click the "User Defined" tab at the top
  • You can see their Account Sales Rep and their Upgrade Timeslot

NCAA Regionals

Tickets are going to be $300 each and they will receive tickets to the Sweet 16 and the Elite 8 (regardless of whether Miami advances or not). We are taking requests from Hurricane Club members only until 5pm today. If we still have inventory remaining, we will put tickets on sale to Alumni.

Our lower level allotment is sections 107 and 108. Will call information will be sent out once determined. Please do not guarantee seating locations.

Only the customer of record may pick up his/her own tickets.

Football Spring Game will be on April 16th at 2pm. It's going to be held at Lockhart Stadium in Fort Lauderdale again. This is due to the renovations of Sun Life Stadium. As a result, there will not be a select-a-seat event in case people ask.

    NCAA 1st Round Update

    We have fulfilled all requests for the 1st Round. All customers received seats in the lower level at $100 per ticket.  We will be charging credit cards this morning, and sending the confirmation email to notify customers that cards are being charged and that tickets will be available at will call at the box office on Thursday beginning at 4:30 p.m.

    We will be sending an email to all alumni allowing them to purchase up to 2 tickets each in the upper level, which is our only remaining allotment.  Tickets are $76 per ticket and are located in Section 229, which are right above our lower level allotment behind our bench.

    You will allocate actual seats when selling, so please be sure to assign the seats upon selling.

    NCAA 1st/2nd Round Ticket Information

    Miami will be playing in Providence, RI on Thursday, March 17 against the University of Buffalo. Game time is scheduled to tip-off at 6:50pm E.T.

    The 1st round ticket includes admission to both our game and then the Arizona vs Vanderbilt/Wichita State game that begins immediately after.

    All tickets can only be picked up at Will Call. Only the customer of record may pick up his/her own tickets, NO EXCEPTIONS!

    We will continue to take ticket requests from Hurricane Club members through end of the day, Monday, March 14 at 5 p.m. At 5 p.m. we will begin to work on the request fulfillment by donor level and points within the donor level. This is based on their 2015-16 Donor Level.  

    An e-mail will be sent to all customers notifying them of request fulfillments

    Football Seat Drops

    Football seats have officially been dropped in all season ticket accounts who have not paid anything towards their tickets or donation! 

    These seats are currently in a "u" hold for that specific customer to call in and still renew their tickets. DO NOT sell "u" holds seats to anyone except the season ticket holder who sat in those seats last year!! You can verify their location by going into the F15 season and looking at which seats they had. 

    If that particular customer calls in to see if their seats are still available, please sell in as a “R” (renewal) price type. These seats will become available and open for anyone to select once the relocation period begins.

    2016 NCAA Men's Basketball Tournament Information

    We will be using the deferred billing plan item of “NCAA” in the Billing Plan column.  We will not charge the customer anything until we know we can get them tickets, and once we know we are playing in that round.

    We will update the application after Selection Sunday to the true sites in Miami’s bracket once it is announced, and update the applications after each deadline.  The deadline for each round is Monday prior to each round at 5 p.m.  We will charge cards each Monday night, once it is determined that we can fulfill the customer’s request.

    Requests will be fulfilled and allocated based on Hurricane Club Donor Level and priority points within the donor level.  We will not know our sections/locations until we receive our tickets, but in the NCAA we generally receive tickets on side court in one of the four quadrants.  If a customer has specific seating requests like aisle seat, ADA seating, group with another customer, etc., please put that in Special Handling next to each item requested.

    Pricing is denoted under each option as well, as to what the ticket price may be.

    Important notes:
    • Customers must request Round 1 and Round 2 separately, even though they are in the same location.  We will have to do will call before each of those rounds.
    • The Sweet 16/Elite 8 tickets as well as the Final Four tickets are for the entire weekend.  Even if Miami does not advance after one of those rounds, the customer will be provided tickets to both rounds.  Tickets for both sessions will be provided at their first will call pick up, they will not need to come back to pick up the next round if Miami advances.
    • We will send out email notification on Tuesday of each week to notify of credit cards being charged, as well as Will Call locations/times for each round.

    Bark in the Park

    Bark in the park will be held on Saturday, Mar. 19 vs Louisville at 8pm. Tickets are $12 each. Please direct any specific questions to Logan Davis.

    • Mobile pet adoption will take place during the game

    Baseball Gate Changes

    Gates will be opening 2 hours prior to first pitch for all games this season. This is a change from last year when gates opened 90 minutes prior. This change was made to help early arrivers get through bag check/wanding and will allow more folks to watch Miami’s batting practice, should they want to. As a result, student report time will now always be 2.5 hours prior to game time to allow for set up and prep for the game! If you have a class conflict, please let me know and we can make a separate arrangement.

    Football Spring Game

    Dropping FB/MBB Seats

    If you are dropping seats out of a donor’s account, please be sure to also zero out their seat donation in t.fund. Additionally, if someone is dropping (non-renewing) seats, please ask them to maintain a $50 membership to stay active and engaged with the Hurricane Club. This way, they can maintain their benefits and have priority to buy single game tickets, away game tickets, or post season tickets.

    Single Game Tickets Available - Virginia Tech

    ACC MBB Tournament

    We have completed allocations and fulfillment of requests for the ACC Men’s Basketball Tournament.  All parties received what they requested.  We are now sold out of lower level booklets due to requests.

    We are going to be putting upper level booklets on sale shortly, and promoting it to Hurricane Club members.  When you sell the booklets in, please allocate the actual seats, and then add a $20 order charge.  We will be shipping booklets beginning early next week via UPS from our office.

    Ticket and Donation Renewal Reminder

    Everyone MUST remember to renew the donation portion of the tickets prior to renewing the tickets. Tickets cannot be placed on a payment plan without having the donation paid in full or set up on a payment plan as well.

    Again, your job is not done when you pay off the tickets or set the tickets up on a payment plan. You must check and make sure the required donation has been paid or set up properly as well!

    4 Month Payment Plan

    Make sure you are ONLY charging the first month and NOT the ENTIRE balance due. Everyone needs to make sure they're doing this correctly. Customer's bank accounts are being overdrafted as a result. These mistakes are not acceptable!

    Now that we are past the 1/31 deadline, any new season ticket sales or anyone trying to renew will need to be placed on a 4 month payment plan. Please remember that the first payment of their payment plan will be charged at the time of purchase. 

    Also, donation component of football and men’s basketball season tickets needs to have their first month's date changed to the day of purchase, and then the last business day of March, April and May.
    • Example: Purchasing season tickets on February 2.
      • Payment plan donation dates should be Feb 2, March 31, April 30, May 31.
      • Payment plan ticket dates should be Feb 29March 31April 30May 31.

    MBB - ACC Tournament Booklets

    The ACC Tournament is being held at the Verizon Center in Washington D.C. from March 8-12.  The all-session booklets DO NOT contain tickets for the opening day games on Tuesday, March 8, those can be purchased through Ticketmaster.com, as there is a link on their application.

    Here is the schedule of offerings to donor levels:
    • Today through Friday, January 29 at 5 p.m. – Champions, Platinum, LIFE, Golden Cane Plus, Golden Canes, and Silver Canes
    • Monday, February 1 through Wednesday, February 3 at 5 p.m– Green Plus and Green (If Available)
    • Thursday, February 4 through Friday, February 5 at 5 p.m– Orange Plus and Orange (If Available)
    • Monday, February 8 through Tuesday, February 9 at 5 p.m– Sebastian Plus and Sebastian (If Available)
    • Wednesday, February 10 through Friday, February 12 at 5 p.m– Re-Offer to all HC members who did not order during their period. (If Available)

    We will NOT be charging credit cards until we can determine we are able to fulfill the customer’s request.  You will need to place all ACC booklet orders on the ACC bill plan. We will be taking the credit card information, and then charging cards after each deadline.  We CANNOT guarantee any request fulfillment during conversations due to unknown amount of requests until after deadline.  This means that even though someone may request lower level, we may have to allot and allocate their seats in the upper based on demand and requests.  

    For those who ask, our sections for the tournament are 115, a small part of 116, and then 422 and 423. Seating will be determined after the deadline.

    Instructions of how to place the order:

    1. Order Management, choose MB15 as your season 
    2. Add the item ACC to the order line
    3. Price Level 1 is Lower Level, Price Level 2 is Upper Level

    6. Once it is determined that we are able to fulfill their request the ticket office will add a $20 charge before charging cards to cover UPS fee.
    If customers want to sit together, they will be seated upon their lowest priority.

    Football Relocation Period

    The relocation process for Football season ticket holders will begin in Mid-March. It will be a similar process to how everyone chose their seats last year. Everything will be online and they will go in order of their Hurricane Club giving level and priority points. Season ticket holders will each have a time slot of when they may begin to enter the site to potentially relocate seats.

    Obviously, customers aren't required to move seats. This is just an opportunity for all season tickets to upgrade seats or select new ones if they weren't satisfied with their seating location last season.

    Ticket/Donation E-mail Update


    All,

    The Hurricane Club is sending out an e-mail today to everyone who has a football donation and ticket balance due. Below is a friendly reminder about the ticket and donation renewal process. Please make sure we're following the steps below.
    • They will first renew any balance due for FB, MBB and SAEF and can then renew any tickets for FB and MBB.
    • Payment plans are not available online for donations in Pac.
    • Currently, we are offering a 5 month payment plan. The first charge is today, then the last business day of Feb, March, April and May.
    • Please be sure to renew each drive in t.fund (FB, MBB and SAEF), as the total of those 3 dictates the donor’s total giving and determines their giving level. Though we are pushing FB, we need each drive renewed, as this helps our department in meeting our $10.2M scholarship goal by 5/31.
    • Each drive will have its own payment plan. IE, if someone has FB, MBB and SAEF renewals, then each one will need to be placed on a payment plan.
    • Please be sure to follow the steps in the payment plan process (attached).
